Timothy L. Tramble, Jr. (TJay) Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 2019 to honor the life and memory of an optimist, who inspired and motivated others. The fund empowers disadvantaged individuals enrolled in Tri-C, Cleveland State University, Central State University or any Historically Black College or University (HBCU) with up to a $2,000 scholarship for a single year.
Application Criteria
1. Rooted in Community
A Cleveland resident who identifies as Black
2. Growing Through Transformation
Between 18-25 years old
3. Pursuing Excellence
A full-time undergraduate college student
4. Institution of Legacy
A student of Tri-C, Cleveland State University, Central State University or any other HBCU
5. Mark of Determination
Possess a GPA of 2.5 or higher
6. Need Change
Able to demonstrate a financial need
7. Community Driven
Providing service within the community

Cleveland Black Equity and Humanity Fund
The fund is one of a number of sustainable outcomes resulting from the 2019 Soul of Philanthropy Cleveland exhibition.
The vision is a sustainable fund, seeded by African Americans and allies that can support and facilitate philanthropic investment in causes and issues that promote and support Black-led social and economic change throughout Northeast Ohio. The fund endeavors to encourage the development and focus of institutional, political, and philanthropic influence in Cleveland’s Black community.
